Oregon is moving to a state-based Marketplace called Explore Health. Here are the key dates and changes to know.

November 1, 2026

Explore Health opens for 2027 Marketplace enrollment.

January 15, 2027

2027 Open Enrollment ends.

January 1 coverage

Enroll by December 31, 2026 for coverage starting January 1, 2027.

What's changing?

Oregon is transitioning from the federally managed HealthCare.gov platform to Explore Health, Oregon's state-based Marketplace. The new platform will provide a state-run enrollment experience for individual and family coverage.

What should you do?

Review your current plan before renewal.
Confirm your household size and expected income information.
Check doctors, hospitals, prescriptions, premiums, and cost sharing.
Review available financial assistance through the Marketplace application.
Don't assume your current plan is still the best fit just because it is available for renewal.
